Every time I watch Koyaanisqatsi I come away emotionally drained. It's very dreamlike and I wonder if it inspired the new movie 'Inception' in any small way? Anyway, thanks to watching this movie I get the incredible feeling that I know my place in the Universe...that I am...

Saw them perform Koyannisqatsi live. They fudged with choir a bit with sampled voices but none of the impact was lost.

@SVMedia To say animals "know" seems to presume sentience on their part - I'd say it's more that humans suddenly have the capacity to know and ponder our place, and are trying to come to grips with the fact that we don't know what that place is, if any. Is technology in violation of the grander scheme? Perhaps we're a metaphorical 'gamble' to get life off this planet before yet another mass extinction slams the book shut.
