May I ask you why you think anti-inflammatory drugs are a good idea for a non-inflammatory arthritis? If they help then surely there must be inflammation of the soft tissue around the joint (not of the cartilage) and masking a chronic problem of these tissues will simply make them more dysfunctional and, in the long term, make the wearing of the joint worse as the stress through the joint will be abnormal? |
