also another point, he used the flavored ones over the regular mint. so obviously nothing would happen. just saw that on the myth busters vid.
and they put whole ones in the bottle, not very likely for them to make the fizzing reaction if they are chewed up. and who swallows mentoes whole anyway? if anything were to happen with mentoes and coke it might just be an upset stomache.
